Hello! My name is Pamela, but most people call me Pam. Before going into Speech Pathology, I studied Psychology and it really sparked my interest and desire to work with people, especially children. The early years are so important to children’s development and who they grow up to be, and that is why I want to be a part of that! I also believe that the family and people around the children are key to their learning and success, and so I pride myself in rapport-building and partnering with parents.
I have worked with children from toddler-age to teenagers in high school, with speech sound difficulties, language delays/disorders, literacy difficulties and Austism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I have also gone on overseas trips where I planned and conducted children programs, playing games, singing songs and teaching English. I am also able to communicate in Mandarin.
Outside of work, I love to explore the outdoors, hiking up mountains or chilling on the beach. I also love spending quality time with friends and family, especially over some good food or board games.
